Payments
Payment processing through Second Set Golf is secure, fast, and easy. Our payment processor is Stripe, which allows for multiple payment methods, transaction receipts and robust privacy & security parameters.
Setting up Stripe
After connecting or creating a Stripe express account, you'll need to add some personal information like email and full name. to start receiving payments, you'll need to connect a bank account for Stripe to deposit funds into. Second Set Golf will not have access to your personal banking details.
Getting paid out
When renters make a booking, the total amount including rental days, and extra services will be authorized, charged, and processed through Stripe. This ensures safe and reliable payments and protects both the renter and lender. Any payment made outside of the Second Set Golf platform is not sanctioned and will not carry any protections or liability coverage.
Cancellation policy
Our cancellation policy is a stepped schedule that remains the same for every rental. Additionally, lenders are bound by further cancellation thresholds which dictate their account status. Please see below.
Over 24 hours
Either party may cancel a booking anytime up to 24 hours prior to rental start without penalty.
Under 24 hours
Renters canceling within 24 hours of a rental booking up to 1 hour prior, will pay a $15 late cancellation fee to you.
Under 1 hours
Renters canceling within 1 hour of rental start will not be eligible for a refund. You will receive your full payout.
Allotments
Lender allotments include:
Two (2) instances of cancellations within 24 hours.
One (1) instance of cancellation within 1 hour.
1H allotment
A cancellation within 1 hour counts both towards a lenders 24 hour and 1 hour allotment.
Review
If a lender exceeds these thresholds within a 365 day period, they will be subject to an internal account review.
My earnings
Second Set Golf takes a platform fee from each rental booking. This platform fee allows us to keep the platform running, market listings, and provide exceptional support to our lenders and renters.
Platform fee:
Rental fee: $10/day
Protection fee (optional): 100%
Lender earnings:
Rental days: $25/day
Valet delivery (optional): 100%
